American Education Week Staff Appreciation Luncheon

The PTO provided a lunch for our teachers and staff on 15 November 2006 in recognition of American Education Week. The lunch was an opportunity for the PTO to say thank you to all the General Smallwood Middle School teachers and staff who dedicate their time, knowledge, abilities and patience to our students, our parents and each other. The menu included sandwiches, pasta salad, veggies with ranch dip, cookies and brownies, all from Apple Spice Junction in La Plata who kindly waived their service charge to keep the luncheon within our budget.

Another luncheon is planned for Teacher Appreciation Week in May 2007.
