Teacher Appreciation Week, 7 May 2007 - 11 May 2007
On Monday, 7 May, the PTO, with the generous assistance from parents and families, provided a variety of desserts in the teachers' lounge.
On Tuesday, 8 May, we held a drawing. Mrs. Peticoin received the grand prize of a behind the scenes tour of the U.S. Capital Building for herself and 3 guests (courtesy of Mrs. Dawn Kessler). Ms. Arevalo received Bread for a year courtesy of Panera Bread in Waldorf, and Ms. Kimble received a $10 gift certificate to spend on school supplies courtesy of Educate and Celebrate in Waldorf.
On Wednesday, 9 May, a catered lunch, consisting of cold salads, breads and desert was served in the teachers' lounge.
On Thursday, 10 May, the PTO, with the generous assistance from parents and families, provided a continental breakfast in the teachers' lounge.
On Friday, 11 May, Mrs. Cindy Fitzsimmons treated the teachers to items from a courtesy cart. Treats were donated by parents and families.
We thank you all for helping us to show our teachers how much they are appreciated.
